About Karen Coulson

How did Karen start Dyslexia DIGS?

She has always loved working with children with special needs. Since 2018, she has been working towards the goal to make it easy for parents and kids alike to immerse in the knowledge that’s around them, just like any other person. Karen has believed that being a special child should not restrict you from the wonderful opportunities this world has to offer.

Dyslexia DIGS is a platform not just for children with special needs, but also for adults. Karen provides professional diagnosis and assessment for anyone above the age of 7.

Karen has been awarded an SpLD Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) from the British Dyslexia Association. She is qualified to undertake full dyslexia diagnosis and assessment.

If you know someone who might need help dealing with Dyslexia, Karen is here to provide her professional advice.

How we’re helping you with Dyslexia

Diagnostic Assessment

We provide diagnostic assessment by visiting schools as well as offering private assessment sessions. It can be in person or by telephone. Our fully qualified teacher will discuss with you any concerns you might have about Dyslexia or any other learning difficulties. Diagnostic sessions can take up to an hour.

Educational Support

Our specialist teachers will provide tutoring support at home, school, or educational establishments. We plan an intervention programme, develop learning resources, and deliver support for primary, secondary, and further education learners. Dyslexia DIGS is registered with SpLD to deliver all kinds of educational support.

School CPD

Dyslexia DIGS offers continual professional development via specialist assessments and support in school. We are happy to train and advise your staff on how to make learning with Dyslexia fun and interactive for everyone. Our aim is to connect parents and teachers to allow an all-inclusive approach for all learners.
